Export and processing of the data in countries outside
of the European Economic Area
There is no export of your personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (hereinafter EEA). Nevertheless, if you are logged into Facebook or have a Twitter account, personal data can be exported to the USA. The service providers engaged by the responsible body are based and operate their IT infrastructure exclusively within the EEA. This also applies to any use of cloud-based services. Federal Homeland Security and Counter-Terrorism Law requires airlines to provide U.S. immigration authorities with each passenger's flight and reservation information prior to embarkation. Entry into the USA is not possible without this data transmission. This data is collected by the US Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) and may only be passed on to other authorities on a case-by-case basis.
